Job summary

Dennis Eagle is seeking a hands-on Fitter to join the Production team in Warwick. You’ll assemble and install mechanical components, working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems to meet exacting standards.

As an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team, you’ll read engineering drawings, maintain high quality and safety, and adapt to moving between departments as required. This role offers a practical, detail-oriented environment in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Operative, or similar role.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience working to takt time in a single-line production environment.
• Hands-on mechanical fitting and hydraulic/pneumatic assembly skills.
• Confident with production systems and computer literacy.

Role: Fitter

Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE

Hours: 37 hours per week | between 06:30 - 16:00Monday to Thursday

Hourly rate: Between £17.73 - £18.43ph DOE

Are you a hands‑on problem solver with a passion for precision and teamwork? We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Fitter to join our Production team in Warwick!

This is a practical role where you’ll assemble and install mechanical systems and components, working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems to deliver high‑quality products that meet our exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install mechanical components to engineering specifications
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety at all times
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
• Promote good housekeeping and adhere to health and safety procedures
• Use computer systems including the Production Management System (PMS)
• Be flexible and willing to move between departments as needed

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Operative, or similar role
• Experience working to takt time in a single‑line production environment
• Skilled in general hydraulic fitting and mechanical assembly
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Computer literate and confident using production systems
• Flexible, self‑motivated, and a team player
• Willing to work in confined spaces and perform occasional heavy lifting
• Relevant fitting qualifications or training in hydraulics/pneumatics is a bonus
