Job summary

NHS Professionals is looking for a practical and reliable Fitter to support property maintenance services across Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust sites. The primary focus is radiator removal, draining, cleaning and reinstallation, with travel between Littlemore, Warneford and Whiteleaf locations.

This is a temporary role working Mon–Fri 8am–4pm with shifts managed through the My Bank portal, offering competitive pay and access to development opportunities and pension schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Level 3 qualification to support skills mentioned above or hands on experience.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Remove radiators from walls, drain and clean them, and reinstall them securely.
• Carry out radiator maintenance and associated fitting tasks.
• Complete minor building repairs and general property maintenance.
• Fit notice boards, shelves and other fixtures.
• Assemble and install small items of furniture.
• Assist in keeping Trust buildings safe and well maintained.
• Travel between Trust locations when required.

NHS Professionals is looking for a practical and reliable Fitter to support property maintenance services across Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust sites.

The primary focus of this role is radiator removal, draining, cleaning and reinstallation. You will be responsible for taking radiators off walls, draining and cleaning them before securely mounting them back in place. You will also support the maintenance team with a range of minor building repairs, installations and general fitting duties.
