Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Hanwell, London, is seeking a Mechanical Fitter responsible for repair and service of blower and pump systems. A good working knowledge of metrology equipment and reading machine drawings is vital to the role.

You will perform disassembly, assessment, and reassembly for repairs, take accurate measurements, document maintenance records, and operate on site with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprentice or vocational training qualification.
• Experience of working with machine tools and/or mechanical assemblies.
• Working knowledge of safety protocols.

Job Summary

• Making accurate measurement readings, replacing key components and reassembling products from notes made during initial inspection.
• Completing maintenance records and reports accurately both on paper and with a tablet.
