Job summary

Mydas Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Fitter for an on-site contract role with a global manufacturing client based in Belfast. The role focuses on assembling, installing and maintaining critical production line components to ensure continuous manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate will hold a time-served apprenticeship in aero or mechanical fields, have aerospace experience, and be adept at interpreting drawings and manuals while working effectively within a team to resolve issues on the shop

Qualifications

• Time served apprenticeship in aero or mechanical fields.
• Aerospace experience is preferred.
• Experience in mechanical systems assembly and installation.
• Maintenance experience for machinery and equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
