Job summary

Safran is hiring in the United Kingdom for a mechanical role at our Gloucester area plant. You will assemble components, read technical drawings, and perform precision turning and grinding while applying 5S and continuous improvement methods.

Essential NVQ Level 3 with an advanced apprenticeship, aerospace or automotive experience, and strong attention to safety and quality are required. We offer competitive salary with substantial shift premiums and comprehensive benefits.

• Skilled in assembly techniques with turning and grinding; electrical knowledge is a plus.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.

Starting salary: £40,649 + excellent shift premiums!

Shifts: Days, Lates, Nights & Weekends

• Bridging shift: 39.75%
• Nights 38.50%
• Weekend Shift (Night) 59.02%
• Weekend Day Shift (Fifth shift) 48.70%
