Job summary

Bannatyne Group is seeking an experienced Fitness Manager to lead our fitness team and elevate member experiences at our Hitchin facility. You will oversee daily operations, mentor trainers, and drive KPIs while managing budgets with a focus on safety and quality.

Desirable candidates hold NVQ Level 2 in Fitness (Level 3/ PT qualifications preferred) and have a track record in wellness management. Weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a managerial role within fitness or wellness.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused attitude with health and wellness passion.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the fitness department.
• Lead and manage fitness advisors and trainers.
• Drive KPI performance for the team.
• Monitor budget for freelance class instructors.
• Develop and implement innovative fitness programs.
• Lead group classes and personal training sessions.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and upkeep of the fitness area.
• Promote Bannatyne's services and memberships.
