Job summary

Bannatyne is looking for a dedicated Fitness Advisor in Peterborough to lead group fitness classes and deliver personalised training. You will assess members, tailor plans and promote Bannatyne services while ensuring a safe, welcoming gym environment.

The role requires Reps L2 qualification, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. A competitive hourly rate accompanies flexible scheduling and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Reps L2.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Desirable: HND level in Health and Fitness.
• Desirable: Level 3 Gym Instruction/Personal Training or Group Exercise (ETM, Spin).

Responsibilities

• Lead group fitness classes and provide one-to-one training sessions.
• Provide personalised fitness assessments and develop tailored workout plans for members.
• Offer guidance on exercise techniques, equipment usage, and overall wellness.
• Motivate and support members in achieving their fitness goals.
• Ensure the fitness area is safe, clean and well maintained.
• Stay updated with the latest fitness trends and techniques to provide cutting edge advice.
• Promote Bannatyne’s services, special offers, and membership packages to enhance the member experience.
• Monitor and drive performance to achieve KPIs related to member journey touch points, class occupancy and revenue via Trainer sessions and programs.
