Bupa's Richmond Villages Painswick seeks a confident Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer to design and lead engaging exercise programs for residents, promoting mobility and well-being in a supportive environment.

You will teach multiple classes, monitor health status before sessions, and help boost activity through events and member engagement. Benefits include a comprehensive package and development opportunities.

Competenze

• Qualified Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer with experience teaching multiple classes.
• Spa/fitness industry experience; pool responder qualification desirable.
• Excellent patience and proactive customer service.

Mansioni

• Assist members in setting and achieving fitness goals, offering advice and encouragement during visits.
• Ensure awareness of each member's health status prior to appointments and keep records updated.
• Provide sufficient instruction to Wellness Spa users to ensure safe exercise.
• Support membership retention by encouraging participation and promoting a fun atmosphere.
• Inform the Wellness Spa Manager of relevant issues at all times.
• Develop and promote organized events such as fitness challenges and group activities.

Our fitness instructors plays a crucial role at our retirement village by promoting health, wellness, and an active lifestyle among our residents. They design and lead engaging exercise programs tailored to the needs and abilities of seniors, helping to improve their physical fitness, mobility, and overall well-being. By fostering a supportive and motivating environment, our fitness instructors enhances the quality of life for our residents, encouraging social interaction and a sense of community. Responsibilities

• Assisting members in setting and achieving their fitness goals, offering advice and encouragement to each member during their visit
• Ensuring you're aware of every member's health status prior to each appointment, ensuring records are updates as necessary
• Ensuring all Wellness Spa users receive sufficient instruction to ensure safe exercise
• Supporting membership retention through actively encouraging member participation and promoting a helpful and fun filled atmosphere to encourage repeat visits
• Informing the Wellness Spa Manager of any relevant issues at all times
• Developing and promoting organised events such as fitness challenges and group activities
• Supporting the Spa Manager to increase visits and revenue, promoting other services in the spa as required

Qualifications

• Level 2 Gym Instructor/Level 3 Personal Trainer, with previous experience of instructing classes, as this role requires teaching multiple classes on shift. Previous experience in working in spas or the fitness industry along with pool responder qualification is desirable. Great patience and customer service with a proactive attitude will succeed in this role.
