Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Fitness Instructor at Cambridge Biomedical Campus. This full-time role involves leading group fitness classes, coaching clients, and promoting health and wellbeing within a premier on-site facility.

You will join a team of six, work with around 1000 active members, and help deliver diverse fitness programs across two studios and a main gym. Commitment to safety and latest fitness trends is essential.

Qualifications

• Certified Fitness Instructor or Personal trainer.
• Strong understanding of exercise and nutrition principles.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for health and fitness.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging group fitness classes and engage with gym members.
• Ensure a clean, tidy and safe environment (e.g. wiping down gym equipment).
• Provide personalised fitness coaching to clients, tailoring programmes to meet their unique needs.
• Create and maintain a motivating and supportive environment.
• Demonstrate exercise and ensure proper techniques are used.
• Assist in planning, promoting and executing fitness programmes and events.
• Track client progress and provide feedback.
• Bring your ideas to the table for member engagement.

• 40 hours per week
• Rotating Shift pattern covering Monday to Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm or 12:00 - 8:30pm,Saturday and Sunday 08.00 - 14.30
• £13.96 per hour
