Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Fitness Instructor to inspire clients, tailor workouts, and ensure safe, effective sessions for individuals and groups. You will use your qualifications to guide, motivate, and support gym users across a rota-based schedule.

With 13 hours per week, the role offers pension, staff membership discounts, employee counselling, and career development opportunities across our 130+ centres in England and Wales.

Qualifications

• REPs level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification required or recognised.
• REPs Level 3 Personal Trainer desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Instruct fitness sessions, at various levels of ability, on group and individual basis.
• Assist gym users with exercise queries and programs daily.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and safety in line with policies.

Job description

We are looking for a Fitness Instructor to join our team! We are looking for someone who has a real passion for fitness along with the relevant qualifications. As a Fitness Instructor, you need to inspire people to train, to tailor the workouts to the individual making them fun and effective, ensuring that they use the equipment both effectively and safely. The role of a Fitness Instructor is varied and interesting as you never know who your next client is going to be, so you will need to possess excellent people skills to build peoples trust and confidence in you.

• REPs level 2 Fitness Instructor
• REPs Level 3 Personal Trainer (desirable but not essential)
• To assist support the gym users with exercise queries and programs on a day-to-day basis
• To provide the highest standards of customer service and safety at all times in accordance with the policies, procedures and systems
• To instruct fitness sessions, at various levels of ability on both a group and individual basis
