Job summary

South Norfolk and Broadland Councils are seeking a personable gym instructor to join Long Stratton Leisure Centre. You will supervise the gym, deliver inductions, set up activities and assist with membership sales while providing excellent customer service. A Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and support members through fitness goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the gym area and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Undertake gym inductions and gym programmes.
• Deliver E-GYM inductions where required.
• Set up activities within the centre (badminton, football, fitness classes).
• Instruct fitness classes as qualified.
• Assist with centre tours and membership sales.
• Support Front of House team at reception and in the Café.
• Ensure the centre is well run, clean and ready for business.
