Job summary

Village Hotels in Swansea is seeking a lively Leisure Club team member who loves hospitality, fitness and helping members achieve goals. You’ll greet new members with gym orientations, lead popular fitness classes, and help keep the club clean and welcoming.

You’ll work closely with the Leisure Club Operations Manager and team leaders, delivering outstanding customer service, promoting wellbeing, and building strong relationships with members and colleagues. DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• A passion for hospitality, leisure and fitness and the ability to talk to everyone.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and build strong member relationships.
• Solutions oriented with an eye for spotting issues before they happen.
• Work in compliance with company guidelines and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Introduce newcomers to the club through gym orientations and inductions.
• Deliver leading fitness classes to members.
• Monitor the pool area and maintain first-class cleanliness.
• Support coaching, cleaning or coordinating a class to uphold standards.
• Create an environment our members love coming back to.

Working alongside the Leisure Club Operations Manager and Team Leaders, you’ll create a slick member experience that keeps the results coming (and the members too!)

A real ‘people person’, you’ll introduce newcomers to the club through gym orientations and inductions, deliver some of our leading fitness classes, plus ensure the club is in tip top shape, through monitoring of the pool area and first class cleanliness.
