Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced First Team Assistant Physiotherapist to join our Medical Department on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to our First Team Lead Physiotherapist, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering physiotherapy services within a professional sporting environment and a relentless drive to achieve high standards.

Role & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the First Team Lead Physiotherapist to provide medical services, including injury assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation.
• Implement injury prevention strategies and assist with pre- and post-training/match care, including soft tissue treatments and mobility drills.
• Support in arranging external consultations, scans, and specialist treatments for players.
• Assist in match assessment and treatment, including pitch-side support during training and matches, which may require travel and overnight stays.
• Develop and monitor rehabilitation and injury prevention programs for common football injuries.
• Work with the multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care.
• Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection laws.
• Educate players and coaching staff on injury prevention and treatment protocols.
• Stay updated with sports physiotherapy research and contribute to innovative practices.
• Comply with company policies and maintain high standards in all areas.
