Job summary

Kato is a fast-growing PropTech company seeking a Security Lead to own security for our product and corporate estate. You will balance hands-on technical work with scalable security programs and help shape a security-first culture as we scale.

You’ll design initiatives, drive ISO 27001 readiness, and improve incident response while collaborating with Data, Infra, and People teams. London-based role with 1 day in the office.

Qualifications

• Experience securing product-led SaaS in startups or scaleups.
• Ability to balance security controls with business needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Own security across product and corporate estate.
• Design and lead security initiatives to scale with the business.
• Embed security throughout SDLC: threat modelling, design reviews, CI/CD tooling.
• Manage protective and detective controls across endpoints, identity, network and data.
