Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off – 18:00 - 6:00 (Night Shift)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor / FLM to play a vital role in coordinating our daily logistics requirements in the recycling department of the warehouse.

This is a night shift. Please only apply if you are comfortable working night shifts.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of warehousing activities and performance in your designated area.
• Supervise, implement, and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct reports, ensuring all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames while maintaining standards of excellence.
• Track and trace orders using digital in-house tracking software, ensuring records are maintained at an optimal level.
• Work as part of the recycling department in the warehouse.
• Manage a team of up to 15 direct reports.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous practical experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader is desirable.
• Previous warehouse experience is desirable.
• Experience in the preparation and distribution of volume orders.
• Computer literate with practical knowledge of logistics software packages.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organize, and train direct reports.
• Familiar with 1-2-1 meetings, disciplinary procedures, back-to-work protocols, and conflict resolution.
• Willing to work 4 on, 4 off shifts from 18:00 to 6:00.
• The role is based in the recycling department of the warehouse.
