Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: 4 on 4 off, 6pm-6am

Location: Manchester (M26 2XH)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a First Line Manager - Warehouse to coordinate our daily logistics requirements. The role requires a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and an understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

What does the role entail?

• Reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of warehousing activities and performance in your designated area
• Supervising, implementing, and coordinating productivity by communicating job expectations to direct reports, ensuring deadlines are met safely and standards are maintained
• Overseeing Health and Safety procedures onsite and supporting the shop floor team as needed
• Conducting daily shift briefs and reviewing previous night's performance with your team

What do we need from you?

We welcome applications from candidates with the following experience, but encourage all to apply:

• Previous experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader
• Experience in a Multi-Temp Warehouse (desired)
• Experience in preparation and distribution of volume orders
• Computer literacy and knowledge of logistics software
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organize, and train staff

A qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is advantageous.
