Pay Rate: £34,855.59
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am
Location: Derby - DE13 0BB

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse FLM to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• To directly assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area
• To provide guidance, support and training to the warehouse colleagues
• Help with the day to day running of the shift, correctly utilising labour
• To manage a small team of operatives
• To supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while always maintaining standards of excellence

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous and practical experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader within a warehouse environment - minimum 1 years experience
• Previous experience of preparation and distribution of volume orders
• Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports
