Job summary

Netteam tX Ltd in Manchester is seeking a committed First Line Support Technician to join our Helpdesk Team. You will provide first-line tech support for multiple clients, log incidents, and manage tickets from logging to resolution while learning a range of technologies.

The role offers training to move into a Second Line role, with opportunities to work with Windows, Mac, and cloud services such as Office 365, and to gain experience with PSA/RMM tools like Autotask and IT Glue.

Qualifications

• Ability to work unsupervised, independently and as part of a team.
• IT-related degree or relevant qualifications highly desirable.
• Proven history of troubleshooting and resolving issues, technical or outside IT.

Responsibilities

• Answering incoming calls to Service Desk, logging and assing end-user requests in PSA system.
• Provide timely updates on tickets to end-users via telephone and email.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating where necessary.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot client hardware and software.
• Set up new devices for Windows and Mac.
• Complete laptop pre-builds and post-builds.
• Maintain client site documentation via IT Glue.
• Comply with Information Security policies and procedures.
