Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is partnering with a specialist IT company to recruit Service Desk Advisers for their Peterborough office. You will provide first-line IT support to external clients, with full training offered.

The role suits both experienced advisers and those starting a career in IT support. Location is Peterborough with 37.5 hours per week between 7am and 7pm, flexible shifts, and weekend work occasionally.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Organised, reliable, and methodical in approach.
• IT support experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Delivering first-line IT support to external customers via phone and email.
• Logging, tracking, and updating support tickets accurately.
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Escalating more complex technical issues when required.
• Guiding customers through step-by-step solutions professionally.
