Job summary

The role combines hands-on engineering with strategic leadership in a hybrid London setup, offering up to £90,000 base salary plus a 20% bonus, and the chance to shape a growing data-driven consumer brand. Significant ownership and direct exposure to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience building production-grade data pipelines.
• Strong BigQuery experience.
• Experience with dbt or similar transformation tooling.
• Experience working with cloud data platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to operate autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering or Data Leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Developing and optimising a cloud-based data platform within BigQuery.
• Owning data quality, governance, security and access controls.
• Delivering trusted reporting and analytics capabilities.
• Managing external data and analytics partners.
• Enabling self-service analytics across the business.
• Driving adoption of AI-enabled analytics and decision-making tools.
• Helping build and lead the data function as the company grows.
