Job summary

Harnham is partnering with a rapidly growing consumer brand to appoint its first Data Engineering Lead in London. You will design and scale a modern data platform, owning architecture, pipelines, governance and reporting while shaping the data strategy with senior stakeholders.

The role offers ownership of the data landscape, opportunities to build and lead a team, and exposure to senior leadership as the company grows. A base salary up to £90,000 with a 20% bonus awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Strong BigQuery experience.
• Experience with dbt or similar transformation tooling.
• Experience working with cloud data platforms.
• Ability to operate autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering or Data Leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Designing and scaling the data platform across the business.
• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Own data quality, governance, security and access controls.
• Deliver trusted reporting and analytics capabilities.
• Lead external data/analytics partnerships and enable self-service analytics.
