Job summary

West Midlands Police seeks three First Aid Trainers for temporary 12‑month assignments at the West Midlands Police Training Centre. Hourly rate £19.78.

Responsibilities include designing and delivering engaging training, guiding learners, and collaborating with experts to keep content current and compliant with ethics and safety standards. Desirable experience includes a range of policing-related training areas, with flexibility to teach evenings and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Recognised training or teaching qualification, or significant experience in training delivery and design.
• Willingness to complete a Police Training Roles Learning & Development Programme.
• Practical knowledge of current policing challenges, including efficiency and diversity issues.

• Promote Policies: Advocate for the organisation's Code of Ethics and Health and Safety protocols, ensuring compliance in all training activities.
• Flexibility Required: Be prepared to deliver training sessions during evenings and weekends as needed.
