Job summary

SSG Training and Consultancy Ltd, part of the Celnor Group, is seeking a passionate First Aid Instructor to deliver FAIB-aligned training across workplaces and classroom formats in Plymouth. You will represent the organisation professionally while ensuring high-quality assessments and engaging learner experiences.

You will hold FAIB instructor credentials, a Level 3 Education and Training award, and current First Aid certification, with the ability to motivate learners and manage training

Qualifications

• FAIB First Aid Instructor qualification (or equivalent).
• Teaching / assessing qualification (e.g. Level 3 Award in Education and Training).
• Up to date First Aid certification.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate learners.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver First Aid at Work, Emergency First Aid, and Paediatric First Aid courses.
• Ensure all training meets FAIB standards and awarding body requirements.
• Create an engaging, interactive learning environment.
• Assess learners and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
• Ensure training equipment is prepared and maintained.
• Represent SSG Training and Consultancy professionally, at all times.
