Prospero Teaching is seeking a caring Medical Room Assistant for a secondary school in Tendring, Essex. You will manage the school's medical room, provide first aid and support students with medical needs throughout the day.

The role involves administering prescribed medication, maintaining records, safeguarding duties, and effective communication with parents and healthcare professionals. Term-time pattern offers work-life balance, with training opportunities available.

• First Aid qualification (or willingness to undertake training)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsabilidades

• Provide first aid and medical support to students and staff.
• Administer prescribed medication in accordance with school policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and accident reports.
• Support students with ongoing medical conditions and individual healthcare plans.
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers and healthcare professionals when required.
• Monitor and maintain medical supplies and equipment.
• Promote student wellbeing and contribute to safeguarding and welfare practices across the school.
