Job summary

Brandon James in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Fire Surveyor to support projects across Glasgow and Central Scotland. You will carry out site surveys, identify defects and provide practical compliance recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire surveying and delivering compliance recommendations.
• Strong report writing and documentation skills.
• Able to communicate findings clearly to clients and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site-based surveys across Glasgow and Central Scotland.
• Identify defects and provide clear remedial recommendations.
• Complete fire compartmentation surveys and fire door inspections.
• Inspect fire-stopping and passive fire protection systems.
• Record defects and areas of non-compliance.
• Review drawings, plans and building documents.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and property teams.
• Support wider fire safety and compliance programmes.
• Manage site visits across Glasgow and surrounding areas.
