Job summary

Brandon James is seeking an experienced Fire Surveyor to support a growing workload across Liverpool and the North West. You will carry out detailed fire safety inspections, identify defects and provide clear guidance on remedial works, liaising with clients and managing multiple sites.

The role requires knowledge of fire doors, compartmentation, fire-stopping and a relevant qualification. A full UK driving licence is advantageous; hybrid and flexible working are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire surveying, passive fire protection or building surveying.
• Knowledge of fire doors, compartmentation and fire-stopping.
• Strong reporting and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking compartmentation and fire door surveys.
• Inspecting fire-stopping and passive fire protection systems.
• Identifying defects, breaches and areas of non-compliance.
• Producing accurate survey reports with practical recommendations.
• Reviewing drawings, plans and building information.
• Liaising with clients, contractors and property managers.
• Supporting remedial and compliance programmes.
• Managing site visits across Liverpool and the surrounding region.
