Johnson Controls is seeking a Design Engineer to join our Fire Suppression Design Team in Sunbury. You will deliver high-quality fire suppression system designs across regional projects, with initial six months in the office and potential hybrid work thereafter.
This role requires 3–5 years designing sprinkler and/or fire suppression systems, proficiency in AutoCAD, and strong communication and organizational skills. Occasional UK site surveys and design reviews are part of the duties.
As a Design Engineer within our Fire Suppression Design Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality fire suppression system designs across regional projects. The team is currently based in Sunbury and is expected to relocate to Weybridge next year.
To support your training, onboarding and development, this role will be office-based for the first six months. Following this period, hybrid working may be available, subject to performance and agreement with your Design Manager. You will also undertake occasional UK travel for site surveys, progress reviews, drawing mark-ups and client design meetings.
