Job summary

Major Recruitment Ashford is seeking experienced Fire Stoppers / Passive Fire Protection Operatives for a hospital project in Worthing. You will install fire batt, mastic, and stopping compounds and fit passive fire protection systems on site.

Hours are 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a rate of £230 per day. The initial duration is around one week, with potential further work in London and Kent for travel-ready candidates who hold NVQ2 and CSCS card.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection or equivalent
• CSCS Card required to on-site
• Ability to work safely in hospital environment

FIRE STOPPERS REQUIRED - WORTHING

We are currently looking for experienced Fire Stoppers / Passive Fire Protection Operatives for an upcoming project in Worthing.

Location: Worthing

Project: Hospital

Duration: Approximately 1 week initially

Rate: £230 per day

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Work Involved

• Fire batt installation
• Fire mastic application
• Fire stopping compound pours
• Fitting and installation of passive fire protection systems
• General fire-stopping duties

(Materials and ladders for accsessibility will be provided)

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection and CSCS Card to get on site
• Relevant fire-stopping experience
• Your own tools
• Full PPE, including safety boots, hard hat, gloves, etc.
• The ability to work safely and professionally within a hospital environment

Further Opportunities Available

Although this initial project is expected to last around one week, there are plenty of further opportunities available in London and Kent for reliable, qualified fire stoppers who are willing to travel.
