Core Group is seeking a Fire Stopper for a Belfast-based project (BT15). Hours are Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30, with 8 hours paid. Contract duration is 5-6 weeks, starting 28/09/2026. Duties include installing fire stopping systems, sealing gaps, and fitting fire barriers around penetrations.

Applicants must hold a valid CSCS card, have prior fire stopping experience, and understand fire stopping systems. References are required; site health and safety awareness is essential.

Rate: £24-£25ph

Duties include:

• Installing fire stopping systems


• Installing fire-rated materials around service penetrations


• Sealing gaps and penetrations


• Installing fire barriers and cavity barriers


• Working around cables, pipes and ductwork


• Following manufacturers' specifications and project requirements


• Completing fire stopping works to the required standard


• Recording completed works where required


• Working safely around other trades

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS Card


• Previous fire stopping experience


• Relevant fire stopping qualifications where required


• Good understanding of fire stopping systems


• 2 checkable references


• Good understanding of site health & safety
