Job summary

Core Group is seeking a Fire Stopper for a Belfast-based project (BT15). Hours are Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30, with 8 hours paid. Contract duration is 5-6 weeks, starting 28/09/2026. Duties include installing fire stopping systems, sealing gaps, and fitting fire barriers around penetrations.

Applicants must hold a valid CSCS card, have prior fire stopping experience, and understand fire stopping systems. References are required; site health and safety awareness is essential.

Qualifications

• CSCS card is required.
• Previous fire stopping experience within construction projects.
• Good understanding of fire stopping systems and standards.

Responsibilities

• Install fire stopping systems and materials.
• Seal gaps and penetrations around services.
• Install fire barriers and cavity barriers.
• Work safely around cables, pipes and ductwork.
• Follow manufacturers' specifications and project requirements.
• Record completed works where required.
