Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire and/or Security Design Engineer in the United Kingdom to design and price fire detection, life safety, and security systems in accordance with BS standards. You will work through tender to installation, using AutoCAD/Revit or similar tools and collaborating with on-site teams to ensure seamless handover.

The role requires strong technical and commercial awareness, ability to manage multiple sites, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Fire OR Security systems.
• Lived in the UK for the past 5 years (security clearance required).
• Experience in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
• Knowledge of MOJ, BS7273, BS6266 and other relevant standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and price fire detection, life safety, or security systems.
• Present technology solutions to customers.
• Manage technical design from tender through to installation.
• Coordinate with on-site team through system handover.
