Job summary

CAMS Fire & Security PLC offers an apprenticeship to become a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician. You’ll train hands-on with real systems such as access control, CCTV, intruder alarms and fire alarms, learning from industry experts.

The programme includes block release at the Watford centre, one week every eight weeks, leading to a nationally recognised qualification and strong career progression in security engineering.

Qualifications

• 18+ due to site restrictions.
• Full UK drivers licence.
• Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
• Maths and English GCSE at grade 4 or above.

Responsibilities

• Train hands-on with real systems as part of the apprenticeship.
• Learn from industry experts during the training.
• Complete a wide range of tasks and projects on security systems.
• Build evidence from your job to support learning.
• Sit annual assessments at the centre.
