Job summary

Alarm Communications Limited is seeking an Apprentice Fire & Security Engineer to join our London-area team. You will assist with installation and maintenance of fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder systems, guided by a senior engineer.

You will learn on the job and through a 3-year block-release course, attending college during dedicated weeks to complete the Level 3 EPA. A full, clean UK driving licence and GCSEs in Maths and English are required.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above.
• A Level or BTEC is desirable but not mandatory.
• On-the-job training with a 3-year block release course to become fully qualified.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fire alarm, access control, CCTV and intruder alarm systems to high standards.
• Carry out routine services of fire and security systems.
• Provide detailed information to enable accurate quoting of works.
• Maintain excellent customer service and professional conduct.
• Keep concise records of work completed.
• Complete the Fire & Security Systems Qualification.
