Job summary

EWC Electrical is looking for an apprentice to learn on the job with experienced engineers, installing, maintaining and fault-finding on access control, video surveillance, intruder alarms and fire alarms. Supported by Skills for Security, you will train at the Walsall centre and work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship.

Driving licence is required, along with Maths and English, and a DBS check must be passed.

Qualifications

• Must be eager to learn, develop and be confident.
• Driving licence required.
• Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Train hands-on with real systems (access control, video surveillance, intruder and fire alarms).
• Learn from industry experts and work on a range of tasks and projects.
• Build evidence from work to support learning and attend annual assessments.
