Job summary

Trinity Fire & Security is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join our team, delivering high-quality servicing, maintenance and technical support across a diverse portfolio of commercial clients in Crawley and the surrounding area.

You will diagnose faults, carry out planned preventative maintenance, complete small installations, and provide professional advice to customers while upholding British Standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm and/or electronic security systems.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of relevant British Standards and industry requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to customer service.
• A strong technical understanding, with a focus on electrical safety.
• The ability to work independently, manage service responsibilities and maintain high engineering standards.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service visits on fire and security systems.
• Diagnose faults and deliver effective, compliant solutions.
• Complete minor remedial works and small-scale installations.
• Provide professional technical advice and updates to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant standards and company procedures.
