Job summary

Trinity Fire & Security is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to service, maintain and support fire and security systems across commercial clients in North London. You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance and deliver high standards of service with professional customer care.

This role offers regional coverage, generous on-target earnings up to £58,000 (including overtime and bonuses) and a £4,000 sign-on bonus, with ongoing training and career development in a supportive

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm and/or electronic security systems.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of relevant British Standards and industry requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to customer service.
• A strong technical understanding, with a focus on electrical safety.
• The ability to work independently, manage service responsibilities and maintain high engineering standards.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service visits on fire and security systems.
• Diagnose faults and deliver effective, compliant solutions.
• Complete minor remedial works and small-scale installations.
• Provide professional technical advice and updates to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant standards and company procedures.

You will service and maintain a wide range of fire and security systems, ensuring compliance, reliability and exceptional customer service. You'll be supported by dedicated Service Coordinators and Technical Specialists, allowing you to focus on delivering outstanding engineering standards.

CCTV: Hikvision, Dahua, Avigilon.

Intruder Alarms: Galaxy, Texecom.

Access Control: Paxton, Honeywell, Gallagher.

Key Responsibilities

We're looking for a technically capable and customer-focused engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

You will have:

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm and/or electronic security systems.
