Job summary

ABCA SYSTEMS LIMITED is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to work hands-on across social housing and commercial sites. You will perform reactive repairs, servicing, and planned maintenance on fire alarms, access control, door entry, and security systems.

The role suits a problem-solver who can work independently, with on-call duties and occasional overtime. A full UK driving licence and BS5839 standard knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Fire & Security engineering.
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience on systems such as fire alarms, access control & door entry.
• Good understanding of BS5839 standards.
• Experience with PPM, emergency lighting, and system inspections.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Smoke control / AOV systems experience.
• Fire extinguisher servicing.
• Experience using CASH or similar systems.

Responsibilities

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the sameperfect for an experienced engineer who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working independently.
