Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join a well-established national installer and service provider. You will service and maintain fire alarm systems and electronic security equipment across commercial sites, with a company vehicle and comprehensive benefits.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with fault finding and maintenance of fire and security systems, supported by an industry qualification and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience as Fire & Security Service Engineer.
• Good knowledge of fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Experience in fault finding, servicing and maintenance.
• A relevant industry qualification or manufacturer training.
• Professional approach with good customer-facing skills.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across fire & security systems.
• Fault finding, diagnostics and carrying out system repairs.
• Working on intruder alarms, CCTV and access control.
• Completing planned preventative maintenance and reactive call-outs.
• Ensuring work meets industry standards and regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining client relationships.
• Completing accurate service reports and documentation.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join a growing team, working across a varied portfolio of commercial clients and sites.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, servicing and reactive repairs across a range of fire and security systems.

• Servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Fault finding, diagnostics and carrying out system repairs.
• Working on a range of electronic security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV and access control.
• Completing planned preventative maintenance and reactive call-outs.
• Ensuring all work is completed to relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Completing accurate service reports and relevant documentation.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a Fire & Security Service Engineer position.
• Good technical knowledge of fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Experience in fault finding, servicing and maintenance.
• A relevant industry qualification or manufacturer training.
• A professional approach with good customer-facing skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
