Job summary

Alecto Recruitment is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive Fire & Security opportunities across the Midlands. You will nurture existing accounts, win new business, and translate client needs into tailored proposals.

This role offers a £35k-£40k base, 2% commission, £400 monthly car allowance, and mileage reimbursement, with autonomy to manage your diary and develop your career in a growing company.

Qualifications

• Experience in Fire & Security sales or technical sales.
• Understanding of Fire Alarm and/or Electronic Security systems.
• Strong customer relationship and account management skills.
• Proven track record of winning new business and growing accounts.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across your region.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
• Conduct site surveys and identify customer requirements.
• Prepare quotations and proposals.
• Promote Fire & Security solutions across commercial customers.
• Build strong relationships with clients and key decision makers.
• Work closely with the engineering and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Representing the business in a professional manner at all times.
