Job summary

PT Renewables is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Project Manager in the Cardiff area to lead projects from order to completion. You will coordinate engineers and subcontractors, manage labour and budgets, and ensure on-time delivery with the highest safety and quality standards.

The role requires deep technical knowledge of fire alarm, CCTV, access control and intruder systems, IP networking, RAMS, and FIA qualifications, plus excellent communication and IT skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire alarm and security system projects from order to completion.
• Knowledge of RAMS and health and safety compliance.
• Experience with IP systems and complex cause-and-effect designs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from start to finish and coordinate engineers and subcontractors.
• Control labour, resources and project timescales within budget.
• Ensure health and safety compliance, RAMS and certification.
• Liaise with customers and engineering teams to maintain progress and satisfaction.

Are you an experienced Fire & Security Project Manager looking for your next opportunity?

We’re looking for someone with strong technical knowledge of fire alarm and security systems who can manage projects from order through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

• Managing projects from start to finish
• Leading and coordinating engineers and subcontractors
• Managing labour, resources and project timescales
• Ensuring health and safety compliance and preparing RAMS
• Purchasing equipment and managing additional works costs
• Completing O&M manuals and relevant certification
• Liaising with customers, management and engineering teams
• Maintaining excellent communication and customer satisfaction

• Technical knowledge of fire alarm systems
• Technical knowledge of CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Good IT and Microsoft Office skills
• Full driving licence
• Fire alarm design experience, including complex cause and effect and networked systems
• Knowledge of IP systems
• FIA or other fire alarm design qualifications
