Job summary

V7 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Installation Engineer to join the client’s team in Hastings, East Sussex. This full-time, permanent role covers installation, maintenance and fault rectification of fire and security systems across East Sussex & Kent, with a company van and equipment provided.

The role requires adherence to NSI/BAFE standards, 40-hour weeks, and ongoing training and development. Competitive salary £38,000–£42,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experienced fire and security installation technician.
• Knowledge of NSI and BAFE standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installations, remedial works and fault rectifications across fire and security systems.
• Work in line with NSI and BAFE standards.
• Complete reports after site visits.
• Participate in the standby rota.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professional communication.
• Ongoing training and development to maintain technical knowledge.
