Job summary

Resourcing Group is seeking a Fire and Security Engineer to cover Bristol and the South West. The role combines servicing, remedial and installation work across fire and security disciplines, with frequent regional travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industry experience.
• Full driving license.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of fire/security systems and manufacturers.
• Willingness to travel across Bristol, M4 and South West.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining fire detection systems, emergency lighting and portable fire extinguishers.
• Servicing and maintaining intruder, CCTV and access control systems.
• Working on installation projects across fire and security disciplines.
• Understanding customer requirements, communicating clearly and reacting efficiently.
• Providing customers with training and demonstrations on systems and educating on false alarms.
• Taking responsibility for health and safety and adhering to relevant British Standards.
• Working proactively and efficiently on your own or as part of a team.
• Providing on call telephone support and attendance of out of hours call outs as per the company standby schedule.
