Job summary

Syncro Fire & Security, now part of the Ranger Fire & Security Group, is seeking a Fire & Security Engineer for Liverpool. You will install and maintain fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms and extinguishers, and support a 24-hour callout rota across varied sites.

The role offers up to £40K, overtime opportunities, and a fully expensed van with a laptop and mobile. FIA/BAFE certification is desirable and full UK driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, fire alarms and detection systems, and access control.
• Confidence with IP/networked systems.
• Professional, customer facing.
• Full UK driving licence.
• FIA / BAFE certification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Installing and maintaining fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms and extinguishers.
• Delivering high-quality PPM and supporting a 24-hour callout rota.
• Getting hands-on with upgrades, commissioning and system programming.
• Working across varied sites no two days look the same.
