Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Systems Engineer to join the Field Service team. You will service, test, inspect, repair and install fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder alarms, and complete documentation to required standards.

The role focuses on PPM, reactive calls and small works, with strict adherence to health and safety, RAMS, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in Fire & Security Systems maintenance and installation.
• Knowledge of relevant standards and codes, and ability to document work.
• Strong communication skills and basic IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs and installation of fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder alarms.
• Execute PPM, handle reactive calls and small works within regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all service activities.
• Participate in health and safety training and RAMS reviews.
