Job summary

PRS is recruiting a qualified Fire and Security Engineer to provide on-site maintenance and repair across commercial estates in the Humberside area. You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance on fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder systems.

The role requires a proven track record in fire and security, good fault finding skills and a valid driving licence. You will work to high standards and liaise with customers to maintain a professional image and ensure compliance with health and

Qualifications

• Proven experience with fire/security systems.
• High level knowledge of relevant Fire standards.
• High level knowledge of relevant Security standards.
• Excellent diagnostic and fault finding skills.
• Valid full driving licence.
• Proven experience in FM or building services.
• Strong maintenance and fault-finding across fire and security systems.
• Knowledge of fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder alarms.
• Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, problem solve and develop solutions to faults.
• Direct and take responsibility for running technical performance of mission critical equipment and buildings.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to staff and customers to resolve problems.
• Ensure work on site and projects conforms to company, customer and legal standards.
• Delivery of the contract including cost, quality and timeliness of work.
• Manage relationship with customer and liaise to keep client informed and maintain a professional image.
• Ensure work conforms to H&S procedures on site/project/contract.
