Job Purpose:
To provide support to both on-site engineers and clients. You will also be responsible to carry out system maintenance, reactive and small or extra works to CCTV, access control, security systems and automatic fire comprising of both internal and external clients.
What you will do:
- Provide support to both on-site engineers and clients.
- Carry out system maintenance, reactive and small or extra works to CCTV, access control, security systems and automatic fire.
- Preferably possess a multi-disciplined background in Fire and Security.
- Work with large Blue-Chip Clients in the South East and surrounding regions.
- Provide planned preventive maintenance, system repair, small works and system commissioning activity.
- Prepare dilapidation reports on newly acquired contracts and advise or recommend improvements.
- Provide design, support and quotation delivery in accordance with relevant British Standards.
- Maintain a strong working relationship & communication between the client and EMCOR UK.
- Ensure policies, procedures and standards are in place and adhered to.
- Maintain service portfolios to the highest quality standard.
- Comply with health, safety, security, environmental and technical compliance policies.
- Ensure risk assessments are completed or reviewed for every task.
- Comply with mandatory PPE requirements.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with relevant British Standards.
- Timely submission of timesheets, mileage sheets and necessary administration paperwork.
- Cooperate and coordinate with the EMCOR UK Service Centre.
- Follow up on non-compliance and recommendations with quotations.
Person Specification
- At least 2 years previous experience in servicing, maintaining and installation of CCTV, access control, intruder alarm systems, intercom systems and fire systems.
- Knowledge of relevant British Standards with a working knowledge of NSI and LPCB required standards.
- Knowledge and experience of permits to work systems, method statements and risk assessments.
- Advanced PC and LAN/WAN Networking skills, including OS level operation.
- Health & Safety trained.
- Experience in system design, surveying, estimating and quotation.
- Ability to implement a program of works or PPM schedule.
