Job summary

Securitas Technology is seeking a proactive Fire & Security Engineer to maintain and service fire and security systems across the Yorkshire area. You will take ownership of issues, resolve them efficiently, and help prevent future challenges while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires 3+ years in the security industry, a clean UK driving licence, and eligibility for Security Clearance (SC).

Qualifications

• Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance (SC).
• 3+ years in the security systems industry.
• Clean full UK driving licence.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Good communication, time management and planning skills.
• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
• Ability to spot and refer potential sales opportunities (commission available).

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and support service calls with Area Supervisor and National Call Centre.
• Use PDA management software to manage service calls and visits.
• Attend and resolve daily service calls plus scheduled maintenance work.
• Take responsibility for vehicle and stock and keep them maintained.
• Bring a proactive, positive approach to every job.
• Join the callout rota with potential for extra earnings.
• Work flexibly to meet client demand.
• Be based within ~30 minutes of your working area for responsive service.
