Our apprenticeship program works in conjunction with skills for security training up to Level 3 Fire, Emergency and Security Systems Technician grade. In conjunction with attending block‑release of one week in approximately ten at a local college, you will also receive full supervised training, working alongside one of our experienced technicians.
Established over 35 years ago, Justice Fire and Security is a family‑run National Security Inspectorate (NSI) Gold Accredited company, providing installations and serving a database of over 10,000 customers to date. We take pride in the service standards we offer to these valued clients. To be able to maintain this loyalty, we also boast excellent levels of staff retention, with the average length of service being over 12.5 years.
Based in our Birmingham (Castle Vale) Office, your role will be to visit our customer premises and private properties to install to high standard, fire and/or security systems, which include, but are not limited to, audible and remote signalling fire and intruder alarms, access control and CCTV systems.
Interesting and varied tasks will challenge you daily, encompassing the installation of systems in a range of small or large industrial, commercial or retail premises, along with residential homes, where cleanliness and neatness is paramount. You will be working with a qualified engineer or in a small team. Transport from our office to and from the customer premises will be provided.

As this is an apprentice position, no previous skills in the industry will be required, but you will, however, need:
This is a modern apprenticeship, so along with on‑the‑job training with our experienced team, you will also attend day or block release at college, to obtain your level 2 or 3 NVQ in Electronic Security (24/36 months). We have regular engineer meetings and toolbox talks, as well as internal and industry training programmes, to help you develop your skills.
