Job summary

Skills for Security offers an apprenticeship opportunity in the UK where you’ll train alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on access control, video surveillance, intruder and fire alarm systems. Training is delivered at our Dagenham centre as block release (one week every eight weeks, Tue–Fri).

You’ll work toward a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification, with on-site

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSE at grade 4/C or above
• Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check
• Full, clean UK Drivers Licence
• Computer literate
• Live within 10-15 miles of the office

Responsibilities

• Train hands-on with real systems linked to access control, video surveillance, intruder and fire alarms.
• Learn from industry experts during installation, maintenance and fault-finding tasks.
• Complete a range of tasks and projects to build evidence for training.
• Sit annual assessments at the centre

You’ll train through block release at our Dagenham centre, for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday).
