Recruitment Helpline Ltd is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer for a full-time, permanent position in Nottingham. The role covers installation, servicing and commissioning of security and life-safety systems across commercial sites.

You will work with access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, fire alarms and door systems, with full training provided as needed. A UK driving license and good communications are required, along with a professional, customer-facing approach.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in at least one of the listed disciplines.
• Experience with servicing, installation, or commissioning.

About The Role:

This is a varied and rewarding role where you will be carrying out the installation, servicing, and commissioning of security and life safety systems across commercial environments.

Your work may include:

• Access control systems
• Automated gates and barriers
• CCTV
• Roller shutters
• Intruder alarms
• Fire alarm systems
• Automatic doors
• Door entry systems

Experience in at least one of these key areas is required, and full training will be provided across other disciplines. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who wants to broaden their skill set while working for a supportive and reputable company.

Candidate Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in at least one of the above-named disciplines
• Experience with servicing, installation, or commissioning
• A hardworking and flexible approach
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer-facing skills
• A full UK driving licence
• Own basic hand tools
• A good standard of spoken and written English
• Willingness to complete a DBS check, arranged by the company
